Rashaad Ahmad...Quality Hip Hop from the tastemaster

I was digging around on Myspace and found a quality hip hop artist from San Francisco. Rashaan Ahmad, who has a more laid back approach to his music that is considerably jazzy and a bit funky. One thing for sure: He chooses good tracks to spit on! His delivery is very smooth, and hits the beat quite well. His lyrics lacks just a little bit in aggression and "oomph" . But no doubt workable! The album is from The Jazz Liberatorz (http://www.myspace.com/jazzlib)called "Clin d'Oeil" Which is a french word for a "petite suprise" for the new year... Anyway, The album is basically about two french producers (The Jazz Liberatorz) collaborating with world renowned underground emcess & neo-soul singers who do a track each, and tell about what got them into jazz and why they love hip hop.
