DJ Melodic One Presents: Underground Espresso Mixtape v1. Coming soon!

DJ Melodic One Presents: Underground Espresso Mixtape v1.

This is DJ Melodic One here, and Im really pushing this mixtape right here!I've got some of the best tracks in the current state of what real hip hop has to offer, as I've had the chance to do some cleaning and organising inside my room/studio. I came across many boom bap gems from the time period when I was into more hardcore and straightforward styles of boom bap. Back in those days (about 2 hrs ago) I was just rediscovering what "real hip hop" meant for me. I discovered a entire slew of quality artists from Sean Price to Pat D & Lady Paradox I came to realize that "real hip hop" is more than a taglne. It's a movement and a way of life!

Summer mix 2

DJ Melodic One Presents: Summer Mixtape Vol.2 I sat in my apartment bored on saturday before going down to the lake for a chill session and decided to cook up another exclusive hip hop mix! This one parlays from the last mix in which I do the entire mix freestyle while having a couple of drinks (sorry for some of the sloppy mixes that I did. I got kinda over excited!) . I played another couple of bangers from Murs from his last two albums, a track from Rhymefest who I believe is underrated (Fucking Source Magazine gave him 2.5 mics out of 5.0 because he is a relevant emcee, who won't conform to the masses!!) . In the future i will spinning strictly bangers from a whole host of artists like: Reflection Eternal, Black Milk, Heltah Skeltah, Myk Dyalek, and many more! Download: www. Tapesfromthareaper.podomatic.com Send me requests for spins on future mixes: Accesshardware@yahoo.com

My blogging vacation.

I went on something like a blogging vacation. I had a great time chilling at the lake and hanging out with a friend of mine who lives in California.

I had the chance to jump on the S.O.T.C. show which is a underground hip hop show that a friend of mine does when he fills in for any of the hip hop DJ's.

(Sorry for the blurry images. Those are the pics I took of myself and my crew from the radio station.)

I also had a chance to meet a fellow blogger who I regularly read on here who also happens to have a college radio show.
