Taking it easy..When their is no easy way out!
I have been taking the time to relax and get into some quality music. First up: I have been listening to a Female emcee under the name Rapsody who kills it on her mixtape "Thank H.E.R. Now". The whole mixtape is just smooth and just easy to chill to if you are just kicking back on a lazy day off trying to have a "listening session".
Also, I have been kicking back and listening to several Post-Black Metal groups like Clair Cassis and a few other artists and groups that happen to have gotten signed to a few upcoming indie labels. I find this to be good music whilst drinking coffee to!
Just earlier in the day I decided to start up my own one man post-black metal project. And decided that the name Inner Tranquility fits me. Im not trying to go all "dark and satanic" or anything. Just looking for an outlet where I can jam and have a good time doing it. It took me several hours to write the riffs and to record it and do all the fun post preduction stuff. But the song is done. When I find the time to clear some space on my laptop I will post the song up for a free download! So check back to this blog frequently!

The beat goes on...
Ive been out and about going to many concerts and parties the last 2 months... Its been amazing seeing so many punk and metal band come all the way out to their hometowns to play in ours. I recently went to see a Death Metal band called Origin tear shit up and teach the crowd how to stage dive. The lead singer of the band even stage dived and went straight for the ground! Its funny going to these type of shows, were the heavier beings jump off only to topple over other fans or to force the crowd to keep him up in the air and watch as people start falling!
Anyways.. Im going to take it easy for a couple of weeks and get back into my hip hop projects. I also want to start taking more pictures. So look out for that aswell...

...And this is how I feel inside.
Ive been feeling extremely anti-social and/or misanthropic as of late. I put off my current hip hop projects to spend more time at the lake and to work on new material with my new band Death Before Grace. In the band, we play metalcore/thrash/hardcore/electro/r&b mixed all into one style of music. Our songs are about personal reflection, getting over bad days. And about broken hearts.
I went out and saw a band called Deaf Heaven which is a post-black metal influenced band that simply blew my mind over at Now Thats Class! Check em out:

Tired of the normal...
Im starting to get to the point where I am bored of this society. All these manufactured dress codes and being told how to respond to everything put forth in front of you. The last couple of weeks I have been immersed in my work, and Im slowly coming out and joining this society. I went out a couple of weeks ago and saw some bands perform at The Tower in Westside Cleveland.
Since the sun has been shining in the last 4 days from back-to-back rainy days, I have been out and about going to Coventry playing catch up with the owner of Revolution Records. And buying leather studded belts. Ive gotten back into listening to thrash metal after seeing a band totally kill it at the Tower, featuring a black lead vocalist/guitarist.
I will be heading over to Now Thats Class sometime next week or so to jam out. Pics coming soon!
